SeAH Group 2027 Calendar Design

The SeAH Group 2027 Calendar, built on the concept "SeAH Playground," reinterprets the industrial materials of twelve affiliates as 3D character objects rendered in a semi-translucent acrylic finish. Unfamiliar B2B materials — steel pipes, large forgings, coated steel sheets, offshore-wind monopiles, molybdenum, superalloy powder — were translated into images worth flipping through each month, set against the actual factories and facilities of each affiliate. Rigid industrial sites become playgrounds where the objects play, and each material's real function — pipes wrapping a building, monopiles heading out to sea, coated sheets in varied finishes — is transposed directly into playful structure.

Each of the twelve months was designed individually, carrying its own seasonal mood and affiliate identity: steel pipes drifting like snowflakes over a winter yard (January), large forgings holding fortune pouches amid the heat of a forging plant (February), coated steel sheets fanned open to show SeAH CM's diversity of surface finishes (September), and superalloy powder held in a Christmas-tree-shaped glass container (December). The material properties and corporate identities were carried into the form, color, and expression of each character. On the cover, a red sheep symbolizing the Year of the Sheep anchors the twelve objects arranged like a clock face, capturing the cycle of twelve months in a single image. Built on a pipeline combining 3D image and composite retouching, the full calendar — artwork, cover, date pages, and envelope — was completed over five rounds of client feedback.
